To apply, or not to apply?

An entertainment guide are looking for food reviewers. Around 200 words, around about 2 restaurants a week for, er, a few weeks. Think I should give this a go, readers? I'm having an attack of the I-can't-possibly-write-anything-decent-and-be-paid-for-it nerves. Although I highly doubt I would get picked anyway, so I may as well give it a go. And then of course, there is the free food. Free food. Hm. It's a no-brainer, really, isn't it?

Um, I could collapse in a heap of exhaustion. I could gt hired and then discover that in fact, I have no writing talent whatsoever and I could collapse in a heap of...panic.

Basically, there could be a lot os heaps. Or something.

You should definitely give it ago, otherwise you will be thinking 'what if'.

Hope you've applied Suz, if not-what are you waiting for??

Do it!

Nothing ventured nothing gained. And I think you'd stand an excellent chance of being picked. Have more faith in yourself (and you writing!).

Plus, you're passionate about food anyway, you're a great writer-by rights they should snap you up ;)

Aw, thanks everyone! I am going to go for it. I was put of because of my lack of confidence and the fact I know someone who does this already - sort of felt like 'their' arena. Daft, most probably!

Anyway, now I just need to go somewhere and review it! Stay tuned!
